Our History

Bastion Stadium Solutions Ltd was created in 1994 to sell commercial and residential property in Sydney, Australia, which it did successfully for several years.

During construction of the Telstra Dome in Melbourne in 1998, difficulties were encountered by the marketing company responsible for selling corporate hospitality for the stadium. The Seven Organisation of Australia, who were major shareholders in the stadium, asked Bastion for advice. The result was that Bastion Stadium Solutions Ltd was given the formidable task of selling the 5,000 corporate seats.

It took Bastion one year to sell all the seats raising Au $110m, or approximately £40m for the stadium owners.
Bastion Stadium Solutions Ltd recognised that the market was much larger in the UK and Europe, and took the decision to set up in the UK in September 2000. Market research was carried out in the first 18 months, in collaboration with clubs such as Brighton and Hove Albion, Luton Town FC, Watford FC, Coventry FC, Hull FC and Hull Rugby League Club.

After completion of the market research in Hull, Bastion was asked to introduce its business club concept - The Premier Club - to the new KC Stadium under construction in Hull's West Park. Over a 12-month period, 1,000 corporate seats were sold and £5m pounds raised for the stadium management company. Since 2002 the company has gone from strength to strength in the UK, undertaking substantial revenue generation projects in stadiums across the country. Other clients include - Ricoh Arena, Coventry City FC, Liberty Stadium, Swansea City FC, Ospreys Rugby, Doncaster Rovers FC and Cardiff City FC.

In March 2007 Bastion Stadiums LLP signed a joint venture agreement with IMG forming a new company - ISG. All future business and enquiries will now be conducted through ISG.
